How It Works
01 Choose Your Window Select available dates below. Tours run mid-January through end of February. We'll move to whichever resort has the best snow that day.
02 Tell Us Your Powder Goals Fill in a short briefing form so Fab can tailor the experience — from mellow open bowls to steep tree runs. No two groups are the same.
03 Secure Your Spot A small deposit holds your place. Full balance isn't due until closer to departure. Flexible rescheduling if plans change.

Step 01 — Choose Your Window When would you like
to ride?
All tours depart from Asahikawa, Central Hokkaido. We chase storms — if better snow falls nearby, we go there instead. Select a window below and tell us your flexibility in the form.

Why Hosted Beats DIY The Fab Factor
🗺 Logistics, handled From airport pickup to daily resort selection — you just show up and ride. No spreadsheets, no second-guessing.
🌨 Secret spots 18 years of local knowledge means access to terrain the guidebooks don't mention and the tour buses never reach.
🛡 Local expertise The day's pace is dictated by the group, not a timetable. Experienced riders who want to push hard can. Those who prefer to savour each turn do.
👥 Small & social Max 8 guests means no one gets lost, no one feels rushed, and the après-ski conversation is always worth staying for.

Guest Spotlight
"Fab took the stress out of the Hokkaido backcountry completely. I just had to show up and ride. The powder was beyond anything I'd experienced in 25 years of skiing — and I've been to Verbier, Val d'Isère, and Jackson Hole." — Dale V., 52 · Sydney, Australia · Super Saiko Tour, 2023–2025

Common Questions Things guests
always ask us.
The pace is set by the group, not a schedule. Most guests are in the 40–60 range and arrive in good shape but not extreme athletic condition. We typically do 4–6 hours of riding per day with breaks. If you ski or board regularly and can handle a groomer confidently plus some off-piste, you're well prepared. Fab will always read the group and adjust accordingly.
Solo travellers make up around 40% of our guests. You'll be matched with riders of similar ability, and the small group format means you'll know everyone by day two. Many of our solo guests return year after year specifically for the social element — and a few have become genuine friends off the mountain too.
Hokkaido's ski resort towns have very good rental shops — modern skis, boards, and boots in good condition. That said, if you have your own setup that fits you perfectly, bringing it is worthwhile. Fab can advise on the best local rental shops and will help you arrange hire before arrival if needed.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers ski injuries, trip cancellation, and flight disruption. Fab will help you arrange any necessary medical care on the ground — Asahikawa has good hospitals — and we'll work with you personally on rescheduling if something unexpected happens. See our cancellation policy above for the financial terms.
Not at all. Fab handles all communication with resorts, restaurants, and hotels. Asahikawa is well set up for international visitors, and part of what makes the experience special is that Fab can take you to the authentic local spots — the tiny ramen bars, the hidden onsens — where you wouldn't otherwise find your way.
We do our best to match solo travellers as room-shares to keep costs down. If you'd prefer your own room, a single supplement applies — Fab will confirm the exact amount based on your chosen tour and dates. Just mention it in your briefing form and he'll include it in his reply.
